Meet & Greet on arrival at Guwahati. Visit Peacock Island for Umanand Temple Darshan on the smallest river Island of the earth. Followed by visit to kamakhya Temple and Evening Dinner Cruise in Bramaputra. Take overnight train to Alipur Duar at 11PM and reach by 6AM.
Club Holiday Representative will help you get bhutan permit (Permit office remains close on Saturday and Sunday, Permit will be issued only to Thimphu & Paro, for other state we have to make special permit from Thimphu immigration Office). Post all biometric and document formalities we will move towards Thimphu. Evening will be at leisure. On arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
After breakfast we will proceed for sightseeing starting with King's National Memorial Chorten (Stupa), Buddha Point (There is a statue of Buddha which is 169 feet), National Library, Handmade Paper Factory, Institute of Traditional Medicine, Tashicchhoe Dzong, Motithang Takin Reserve (Takin Zoo) and Changlimithang Stadium.
This Morning after Breakfast: we will drive to Punakha – It is 77 kms / 3 hrs from Thimphu, (Punakha is the town in the Himalayas of Bhutan, it was the capital of Bhutan till 1955. It is located at elevation at 1,200 metres above the sea level). Later we will visit sightseeing points includes Dochula Pass on the way, Punakha Dzong and Suspension Bridge. Check into the hotel. Overnight Stay at hotel in Punakha.
This Morning After Breakfast: we will proceed to Paro (Paro is a valley town and seat of Paro District, it has Sacred sites and historical buildings scattered through the area. It is the site of the country’s only International Airport). Visit some major points includes Paro Airport view, Drukgyel Dzong, Rinpung Dzong, Ta Dzong (National Museum), Out View of Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) and Kichu Lhakhang. Check into the hotel.
Drive to Chele la-la pass (3988 m),Drive to Chele pass a favourite place for many visitors and is one of highest motor able passes in the country. For the Buddhists, it is also a sacred place to festoon the pass with prayer flags. For naturalists, the Chele la ridge offers gardens of Himalayan flowers, plants and of special pheasant species. Water is scarce on these ridges and it is recommended to have enough water supplies with you.
Drive back to Phuntsholing / Jaldapara wild Life sanctuary on indo Bhutan border ,. Club Holiday representative will help you with exit formalities. If staying in Jaldapara you can opt for Jungle safari (at your own cost) it will be a unique experience.
After breakfast, move towards NJP /IXB Airport for home.
